Coca Cola: The Real Story Behind The Real Thing

In this documentary CNBC track the history and look to the future of one of the most famous companies and brands in the world, Coca Cola. Hosted by Melissa Lee we learn the over 100 year history of the worlds most popular soft drink and how it has had to change with the times. Some changes not so successful such as the 1985 disaster that was New Coke. The structure of Coca Cola is featured for example how bottlers operate privately from the main company, a trend their main rival Pepsi has being reversing in their business. Coca Cola is of course just one drink under the umbrella of The Coca-Cola Company now producing hundreds of products, a far cry from when John Stith Pemberton made the first Coke circa 1886.
