Mike Tyson brought the power and excitement back to boxing and his antics out of the ring were a dream for the press. His first 19 opponents were beaten by knockout, 12 of them in the first round. He set record after record in the sport during his career but perhaps it was the sheer craziness of Tyson that attracted the public to see what he would do next and he rarely let them down. In this 2008 documentary we follow the rise of Mike Tyson and the people around him. Through his youth in Brooklyn, New York were he was often finding himself in trouble to Boxing in the Junior Olympic Games. He started his professional boxing career aged just 18 and would become the youngest fighter to hold all the major belts just two years later. Outside of the ring Tyson struggled, struggling to control his anger he often surrounding himself with the wrong people. His Jail time for rape and biting of Evander Holyfield in a fight two years after his release are what many remember him for.
