St.James Gate, Dublin is one of the largest brewery's in the world and the home of Guinness. In the run up to Arthur's day; named after the creator of the black stuff Arthur Guinness National Geographic document the history, making and factory of Guinness. Before we go inside the mega Guinness factory we must travel across the country to see the ingredients harvested, two thirds of the country's malting barley are used to make Guinness. We see how the site for the factory is on lease from the Irish government for 9,000 years, Arthur was confident his Stout would be a success. The process for making the iconic drink and the future for Guinness as they try to crack new markets around the world.
