With the rather wordy title "
A Personal Journey with Martin Scorsese Through American Movies" the documentary is broken into chapters that combine to make the complete film lasting over three hours. Clips from numerous movies both blockbusters and little known or forgotten features are used along with lots of anecdotes from his years in the movie business.
