In 2010 a story broke that swept the world, it was the story of 33 miners trapped 2,300 feet below ground in the Copiapó copper and gold mine in Chile. The public around the world could not get enough of it and the media didn't disappoint especially 24 hour news channels. It was though a story of bravery and hope and with governments around the world offering help in the way of machinery, expertise and finance for once people saw countries working together for a common cause. In the documentary British Television station Channel 4 who had unique access on site cover the various plans and ultimate rescue attempt.
