Hunting The Edge Of Space

When we think of space exploration our first thoughts are NASA space craft and astronauts, Mars rovers and space stations. But nothing has brought us further into the cosmos than the telescope, since the 17th century they have broken barriers and human perceptions of what lies beyond our skies. From the first telescopes used by Galileo to huge modern observatories and the Hubble telescope orbiting the earth man can see further and clearer into space. In this documentary we see the evolution of the telescope, how they work and the great discoveries they have provided. But with technology improving faster than ever we are seeing further into the universe on a daily basis, this leads to the question could we ever build a telescope that could observe the outermost edge of the universe ?
