As
ReplyDeletethe drone technology persists--and it will--there may become a time
when the government has block controllers. These would be paid people
using automated drones to watch the neighborhood (one square block).
While this would do much to reduce certain types of crimes and certainly
gang activity, the potential result would be the infamous "Big Brother"
scenario where the government has it's eye on each civilian every
minute of every day.
I could imagine their drone looking in
windows, even flying inside a home if the block controller suspected
criminal activity. Here the provocative word is "suspected", not
necessarily known, and of course the BC would have ultimate power to spy
with the slogan "Personal and Individual Safety and Security" or PISS,
as noted in big lettering on each drone. Yes, of course there would be
larger, more capable drones used to spy on whole cities at a time. These
would carry the name of Security Hovercraft & Insurgent Tracking, or
SHIT.
That would lead to the world becoming civilians against
the government. That's when we will need to change everything by a mass
population shift in thinking and everyone, on a designated date, would
hide all their money and quit paying taxes. The sure way to change the
government is to cut off their funding.
Ahhh, but then we fund
OUR OWN GOVERNMENT and the same thing happens all over again. It simply
takes time for people to want more than they are entitled too--it's
called greed, and it's one of the most popular ideas in our
world--especially in any form of ruling power.
