No video game has had an impact quiet like Grand Theft Auto. More specifically GTA 3 and it's follow ups have set the bar for games in the genre.The History of Grand Theft Auto documentary goes right back to the very first Grand Theft Auto in 1997 a limited overhead view game that was slammed by critics.

From there the game constantly evolved into the monster unlimited 3D experience we have become used to.The documentary focuses on the games and how they evolved which is great but to be honest I would have preferred a look at the people behind the game and their process in developing the game.Perhaps that's something we can find if so you will see it first here.
